Days Offered:  Monday AND Thursday, 5:15pm – 7:15pm (2 hrs/day and 2 days/week)

***This group is not appropriate for every child. Please complete THIS FORM to apply for the Peak Progressive group. There is a very limited amount of space in this group. In addition, there is a level of maturity, bike skills and endurance needed for this group. Please also consider registering for the Alpine Rippers team (also 2 days/week).**

At a minimum your child needs to be at a maturity level to follow coaches directions, work well in a group setting, and ride for up to 2 hrs. In addition, your child must have at least 2 seasons of riding with BYC – this ensures a level of bike handling skills needed for this team.

Focus: More advanced skills, more endurance, more riding. This group will progress faster and ride further for a longer period of time. These riders are not afraid of going down and also love the uphill ride!

We do have some requirements for registration.

• PARTICIPANT must be within the group’s GRADE by Fall of 2020
• HELMET will be properly fitting and worn at all times. Protective equipment (like gloves!) is not required, but encouraged.
• SHOES must be closed toe, we know it’s hot but we like our toes safe!
• PEDALS should be flat, no “clipping in”.
• WATER needs to be carried by each participant, either in a bottle cage or a hydration pack.
• BIKES must have two hand brakes, No coaster brakes.

Our program is a progressive skills-based mountain bike club. The more you child is here the better their skills will develop.
